Hypnotherapy is commonly used for all psychosomatic disorders in
particular, those mental and emotional states which produce physical
symptoms.
It can generally assist with any problem you're finding difficult to cope
with on your own (e.g. thoughts and actions you'd like to get rid off or
acquire, or emotional suffering that is too overwhelming or has taken
over your life for far too long). Some physical problems may also be
treated effectively through hypnotherapy.
When using hypnosis, one person (the subject) is guided by another
(the hypnotist) to respond to direct or indirect suggestions for changes
at a subconscious level. Though this process, the subject will gain a
new begining in their life free from their previous inhibitions or
limitations. If the subject responds to hypnotic suggestions, it is
generally inferred that hypnosis has been induced and the treatment
process can begin.
Please Note:
If you suffer from epilepsy, schizophrenia or clinical
depression, you should consult your local GP
before approaching any hypnotherapist.
